The Aurora Maintenance Facility includes phased construction of facilities and site improvements for three projects for the City of Aurora municipal fleet. Each project on the existing 20-acre Central Maintenance Facility site requires complex logistics management to complete the construction without disruption of business.
The first project, a new 27,000-square-foot wastewater facilities building, consists of 11 vehicle maintenance bays, a welding shop, and office space. Currently under construction, the new 36,800 square foot Large Vehicle/Fleet Maintenance Facility includes 16 vehicle maintenance and wash bays, a welding shop, and office space. The final project is the remodel and expansion of the Building Management facility. The facilities/ offices will be expanded 7,000 square feet and 12,000 square feet of the facilities shop remodeled.
