In Bend, Oregon, the primary objective of the client was to maximize the income that could be produced through the intensity of the design. Neenan utilized the space to create the highest percentage of income producing areas within the facility. In other words, the ratio of exam rooms to clinical areas was more intense than typically available. At the same time, Bend achieves a warm, healing, residentially-inspired interior design solution. It is not overstated or opulent; instead, the interior space provides a functional, efficient, comfortable, healing environment for patients.
