After four decades without remodeling or upgrading their school, the Briggsdale School District decided it was time to bring the facility into the 21st century. The Neenan Company consolidated a three-building campus into a single school by adding an elementary school wing to the existing high school. The addition included nine classrooms, a music room, a library, a cafeteria with a real stage for performances, and a full spectator gymnasium.
The spacious new gymnasium doubles the size of the old gym and features upgraded seating, a new scoreboard, and a high-quality floor with the Falcon mascot in the center. “The community will see a noticeable difference,” explains Scott Sullivan, head of maintenance for Briggsdale School.
