New Belgium Brewing Company is a state-of-the-art microbrewery complex located on a 50-acre campus. The facility contains features that make it environmentally sensitive and and socially responsible. Truck dock areas incorporate a hydronic snow melt system that use waste process heat. The warehouse is cooled with a highly efficient custom- designed glycol cooling system. Large open spaces utilize natural light and heat sources to cut down on electricity.

Neenan's design team was very good at honoring (where) we couldn't compromise and suggesting value engineering where we could to get the budget in line. They were responsive to our need to be innovative, environmentally responsible, and guided an incredibly complex process. I feel that the hurdles we had to overcome to begin construction might have stopped me in my tracks had it not been for the 'possibility thinking' of all of the folks at Neenan."
