Buffalo Merino School District
Buffalo Merino School District completed two phased projects to consolidate to a single school campus. First, an elementary school was added to the existing high school, creating both shared and separate spaces for the schools. The elementary school includes 10 classrooms, a multi-purpose room, a kitchen, and a library media center. The younger students have a separate entry from high school students, creating a safer and more secure school.
The second phase, funded with a BEST grant, upgraded the major building systems and entry in the high school. Two new classrooms were also added. A tiered multi-purpose auditorium with movable chairs is used for school and community events.
